seen a few things today about Pard but these are old stories and not about Pard UK!!!
also read about mounts supplied with missing recoil bars and what people dont seem to understand is that they arent missing you only need one so the Pard Nightstalkers are not being supplied with faulty mounts as stated
optics world has plenty of stock and Pard customers can buy with confidence

That's my bad. I've only used dovetail and used the Zulus. But when you get a scope mount with the recess & threaded hole to accomodate the lug, you automatically assume it's missing. Even so, the Pard scope rings really aren't the best. I had trouble inserting a hex wrench into one of the hex bolts where it was badly formed. They're also 37mm so they coming in a high size. The rings are okay for a HMR or LR, but I've opted for some Tier One Tac QDs, even though it's being mounted on a .22 LR.

Some sellers are selling non UK spec models, not coming directly from Pard UK , like the ones Trading standards were all over... Just be aware genuine UK specification models are now supplied with LRF only on Night Stalker 4K Pro and EX models.. This is a decision made by Pard moving along with the decision made by Sportsman also.. So if you get one outwith this, it's not from the genuine UK Pard distribution chain..

yes i agree they are not the best mounts but as a get you going set they work ok
id prefer if they included medium instead of high

Just back from the Stalking show and this was the sight that caught my attention. I’ve been Hik until now (elderly Cheetah IR and Falcon spotter) but want something for low light that also has built in IR. I hate clip on torches so Alpex is immediately in the relegation zone. Plus I looked through the new Alpex for preorder on the Hik stand and I’ve got to say the Pard EX has a clarity of image that IMHO left the new Hiks in the dust. Plus you can get it from one seller with built in IR Pard UK said they’ve asked them not to but gave a nod and wink that it’s a good set up.

So why am I hesitating? Even with a show price it’s 20-25% more than new Alpex. Though fitting an integrated IR in the aftermarket adds £209. Muttering about quality control. And at £1k+ you can now get good enough thermal scoped. But I just can’t get the image quality out of my head…
