Well what a day I've had. After this mornings session of 78 I was out again this afternoon on a new permission and shot 113 so I've shot 191 birds today.
Dropped 2 woodies with 1 shot which was a surprise as they were about 40 yards out

Grandad was from Norfolk and spoke about using a "flip" (frog) to catch pike.

Scouted 3 farms yesterday before finding a barley stubble with a few blacks on it. Got set up in the blistering heat by 1pm.

A few birds were coming but the magic switch was turned on at 3.30 which continued until 5.30 with red hot barrels again.

Had 5 right and lefts in succession and also bagged a crow with white wings.

Ended session with another red letter day 119 birds

Couple of slow but steady sessions over the weekend.

Barley stubble and crows Sat afternoon managing 30 crows and 1 pigeon.

Barley stubble and pigeons Sunday afternoon with 39 pigeons and 2 crows.

I was going to arrange them in a different fashion for Tim.243 but there werent enough to spell what I wanted to ...I would have run out at the chemical symbol for Copper
