In my opinion, I would not bother with any of the above.
Get some March flip ups. They are the lowest profile, the lightest, the cheapest and the best proper decent plastic with metal spring that locks back and doesn't flap about. You can also open and close them silently with very little effort, yet the shut tight and perfect every time.
I have a 4-16x56 T96 and use March flip ups on it. The wide angle ocular March cap fits perfectly on the knurled ocular adjustment housing. The beauty about it is that you can rotate the entire cap, so can still use the ocular if you want to, as the bearing surface of the cap is only on the knurling but it is so tight that it never comes off. Not so tight that it wont fit. It obviously wasn't designed for this scope but it is perfect.
I cannot remember what size I used for the Objective but I can check later and will take a picture. Whatever size I used, it is marginally too big (by less than a mm) but a wrap of masking tape or electrical tape or whatever on the scope bell means it fits lovey and flush. Remind me later if I forget to do a picture but you can keep the scope mounted as low as you like, as the profile of the cap is so small.
Best of all, they are only £15 each. Think Butler Creeks but made by Deon in a quality Japanese Factory. I have had a March scope that has been in heavy use for well over 5years and the original caps it came with are still operating perfectly. The ones I bought for the T96 are probably only about 2yrs old, but they are basically the same and so far have also been faultless as expected.
