From what I've heard, the 6.5 creed will go through all 3
Not keen on neck shooting myself, but a head shot wouldn't be beyond the capabilities of anyone who can shoot an inch at 100yds, and of course we all know that everyone is capable of that
Correct...but generally in the scenario photographed I would approach the deer and when they see Im a creedmoor owner, in high heels, stockings and with a blonde wig they would all die of laughter therefore no carcass damage...sorted
Busy ensuring my knowledge and understanding of species is correct and getting some simulation done transitioning from shoulder to sticks as a lot of what I do is prone / sitting.
As it’s my first I’m hoping that a heart/lung shot is available as a safe shot. I wouldn’t mind having my “first” available for mounting for the memories !
That being said 0.5” groups at 100yrds isn’t an issue based on the load development….
Extremely looking forward to it and the subsequent write up ! Let’s just hope the weather plays ball!

Tim. Just a suggestion (and hopefully sensible for me) . Make it a condition that whoever is selected has to do a full write up so we can all see how it went
