Tikka T3x Tac A1 - thinking of selling

I recently bought a SAKO TRG 22 and my Tikka is likely to get little use now, any idea of value? I’ve looked on Guntrader but don’t see anything used.

It’s a .223, 1:8 twist version; with a 20” barrel, shot successfully out to 900yds at Bisley, round count is around 400, rifle is a couple of years old, has all the original parts/spacers etc, has original mag plus a 10 round standard col WR MAG.

Also has a PRS Bag rider and MDT Prier vertical grip, along with the original

It has a SPUHR SO-4802 (44.4moa) mount and Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25 in MRAD but likely I’ll sell them separately as I know what they are worth.

Likely I’ll keep the Wildcat Predator that sits on it as well

Thanks in advance guys

for a very good condition tac a1 223rem 1 in 8 you are PROBABLY looking at any thing from £600 upto £900 with the extra,s depends on demand/condition/proveable round count.the £900 would PROBABLY be the very highest in todays financial climate. good luck

Interesting, I've just picked up an old design TRG 22 in 6.5CM with the 26 inch barrel. I plan to use it for paper and depending on how it goes I might invest in an aftermarket chassis or perhaps the KRG folding stock.

It doesn’t need the chassis, it already has a rigid steel backbone in the stock.
But Inmucj prefer it for the weight and the looks.
I’ve just changed the front rail and cover for a competition one, so have the standards going spare lol

So I was looking at the price of .223 tikka tax A 6 months ago as was after one - cheapest went for 1250 but most around 1500 /1700

I ended up buying new as made the variation easier as I got one part ex.

Have you considered part exchange it against anything from your RFD ?

Equally put it up for sale see what happens - doesn’t cost anything to keep it and you can still shoot it until it goes.
