Help identifying this egg please.

Hello everyone

I found this intact egg on the floor in my wood. Stone cold and in an area of light tree cover with no obvious nests for such a large egg . Any suggestions?

My guess would be Buzzard, although it's not too heavily marked. But I'm sure someone with far greater knowledge than me will be along in a while!
