Zeroing the Alpex using the app?

I have used my Alpex successfully for atleast a year now but always felt the zero was near enough and not exactly where I wanted it.

Seen several comments recently that it is more accurate to use the app to zero?

Can anyone confirm this and perhaps give me an idea how that works, is it through the live view function.

Go through live function and use the scope dials as usual but instead of viewing through the scope, view through your phone. Larger screen makes it much easier. I managed to zero mine to the point i can use bullet holes to aim at and send another round through the centre of them
