Thermal, NV, cameras & bait are so efficient that foxes are becoming like the Woolly Mammoth around here, Neanderthal man did for them, just like we are doing for Renyard.

I had a couple of hours on a poultry unit for a change of scenery. Didn't see anything apart from a couple of Muntjac and a hedgehog.
I had a look at a couple of fields on the way home and knobbled an old adversary, it's the one-eyed fox I missed three times in one night in the spring. I haven't seen it since that night, tbf I thought maybe someone on the shoot next door had knocked it over. The bonus is that fingers crossed it's the same fox that has killed a good few turkeys on the site next field over.
I say one-eyed, it has two, but appears blind in one.

Out last night under that bright full moon. Had an order for some hares and wanted to see what rabbits was about as haven't visited this ground yet this year.
Even though it was very bright there was loads of rabbits which bears well for the rest of the season.
Only shot 2 fields so not too bad .

It was a miss for me last night, which was a shame because I’ve been on a good run lately, I’ll start with the excuse of a full moon, shooting from up on the bales, it was windy, it was about 200 yards or it could of just been meI bloody missed a 160 yarder.

Nothing took the pigeon off the drilled field that had the prints but it might take a couple of nights etc.
I'm hoping the one on camera at another site will come earlier tonight after curried chicken and a pigeon.
Today it's got rabbit scraps after granddaughter and I made rabbit stew for her mum and fiancé.
Hope the rain stops!

I like a testing shot when I’m just around the farms, it wouldn’t come any closer because of the direction it came from, it just sat on the track and knew something was amiss, you’ll recognise where I was, same place where we sat on the bales on bonfire night and got two
