Update on the SMLE…

Numbers match on the bolt, receiver and end cap. The rear sight has a different number, still unsure on the barrel, and as the rear sight has a different number it’s no longer important anyway as this is not a fully matching numbers rifle. Hope that clears things up for everyone.

Just unbelievable that theses are still for sale
There was a time when virtually all full bore shooters would have had at least one of these incredibly famous and iconic rifles among the collection ,
Always a conversation piece at the range etc

Thanks very much, I think it’s just the times, nothing seems to be moving very fast. Probably less so now that Christmas approaches

Pre covid this pastime was absolutely buzzing, but the last few years it’s just died ,

I live in north Kent , everyone of our gun shops has closed, Greenfields a large and quantity Clay shoot closed a couple of years ago.
I’ve been shooting shot gun and rifle for 50 years so I’m lucky I’ve had a life time ,
These days it’s restricted to death ,
