Roebuck tattoos

Wow. Certainly brought the 🛎-ends out. Thanks for breaking cover 👍
Well you did ask for opinions:
Well, that's it done. What d'you think?
Unfortunately, it looks to be a very poor representation of a roe buck. The nose and mouth, in particular, are completely wrong.
I would be deeply unhappy with that, if I was you.

@Quixote , Your inkmaster should now be tasked with making the facing head a little wider, the colour a little less volcanic, & the muzzle & nose can be fixed with a little care to scale. All is not lost ... BUT
If it were mine I would have it fixed. Ste.😕

It's not supposed to be hyper-realistic, more a stylised image. I like it just the way it is 😃 👍
Well if you like it, that's all that really matters 👍
But I do think you should at least consider getting the nose attended to. It doesn't even look like a deer's nose, let alone a roe's nose.
There's a fine line between "stylised" and, well, you know....

If any care to lookup roebuck nose images `m sure that they will find quite a few different looking 'noses'.
It seems tome that the tattoo artist lifted his work from a photograph.

As is usual for SD @John Gryphon , many are quick to jump in with opinion without qualification or consideration. This tattoo was a coverup, with the limitations that brings, and it was a bloody painful four hour session. Seeing the blind criticism from folk who know no better is pretty insulting to both myself, and the tattooist who actually did a damn fine job of covering a pretty crap old tattoo

Exactly my thoughts doing a cover up is much much harder than starting from fresh, perhaps you should have done a before and after picture.
