Heads-up:

I'm keen to aquire some funky 6mm circa 74grn lead core BULLETS for not a lot of money, please.

Let me know what you need to 'shift' via PM. I'm most accommodating in the matter of P&P costs.

It will have an impact on ranges like Gardners, Orion, Sealgair and probably proshoot. The general consensus seems to be it isn't feasible to put lead traps in so its easier to force everyone over to solids. 20 rounds a year shooing deer is one thing, funding 80-100+ rounds a day at the range to shoot a competition or just a general club shoot is another

How much sporting center fire ammunition do we make in the UK?

We are dependent on imports and the manufacturers will service the foreign markets for lead bullets. I suspect they will be available for decades, then it depends on the opportunity to make money importing and distributing them.

"General consensus"
Whose or what general consensus?
Just wondering if the people you refer to are familiar with the existing guidance on routine range inspection and maintenance.

I was speaking to a chap called Charles Cooper about the lead ban while at Orion for a match on September the 14th. He operates the one mile club and i think he has something to do with Sealgair range. Orion would be a logical nightmare for any sort of lead trap or lead removal and Gardners wouldn't be much easier

I'm not familiar with the ranges that you mention Viking, unlike the majority of rifle ranges do they not have bullet catchers?
Would they be the equivalent of a field firing range?
