Evening all, yet another query.
I a now putting in a paid for variation
to aquire a .22 centrefire (hopefully 222, but want to cover all bases and just apply for .22 CF.
Good reason sorted being vermin / Deer (cwd mj, and possibly roe if I get up to Scotland) also now a member of a club / range.
Looking to reload for the .22 and possibly my current. 243.
What would be an acceptable starting point for ammo allowance given a mix of target work, vermin / Deer control.
To get started with load development and different types / weight of bull etc I can see it being higher than my current 100 x 243 or am I being foolish? I am thinking that while sorting home loading, I will still need sufficient factory ammo for day to day use.I was thinking 200 of each. Will leave the 22 RF as is at 500 as can purchase and store at the range.
Thanks, TD66
