I have my old quad advertised on Gumtree, and just had a call from some bloke who then proceeded to ask random questions before asking me where the bike is. All of which was already in the advert.

He then just giggled, shouted some unintelligible words, and hung up. I've changed the settings to allow messages only, so it'll not happen again.

It just baffles me how some people can be cretinous enough to find this amusing. Weird

Frankly, I can't understand a lot of folk today. Like why people want to demonstrate against Israel and what they've been doing in Gaza. But they demonstrate in England! As if the Israeli government gives a fig about anyone in the UK and their opinions on what's happening in the Middle East. They hardly give a damn about the British government's views on the subject, never mind some bored housewives and those men who haven't anything better to do.

Whatever your thoughts on what's happening there, a few hundred folk marching up and down with poorly home made banners and getting themselves arrested and adding to their criminal rap sheet isn't going to even register 2,250 miles away on another continent. A bit like some whacko and alleged rapist driving a car and stabbing folk at a synagogue in a provincial town in England will make a jot of difference.

Sorry Quixote, I think the shrapnel in my head moved a little bit just there. I've put the kettle on to get things on an even keel again. Hope you sell your quad bike.
