Digital NV - what’s coming?

Hi all, had a HIK Alpex Lrf and loved it’s performance but it weighed a ton, had a Pard DS and loved the weight and built in IR (had the gen 1) but didn’t like the 5.5 base mag or starship enterprise thing, currently have a HIK lite LRF and am underwhelmed with the optical quality but love the weight.
Is there already, or is there anything coming soon that has the full fat Alpex image quality but the Pard weight (something between the HIK full fat and Lite would be perfect…..)
It’s for Rimfire use so needs an LRF and must be 30mm tube with great image quality out to 200m (although max shot distance would be max 125m ish).
Am maybe asking for the impossible, but thought I’d ask!
Thanks in advance 👍

As said above the Zulus Gen1 5/20 lrf will do all you need and the Gen 2 even better; the BC on either will be a great boon on the wee .22.
Fowler 1990 has one on the site for £400!

DNT Zulus v2 has all you need. Built in LRF, IR and ballistic calculator.
Its not a tubed scope but does that matte
I replaced a Pulsar c50 and separate IR lamp with one of these and saved over 1kg. Great bit of kit
likewise but replaced the first ATN 4k.

It is, of course, totally your choice bt can I ask why it must be tubed ans whether you have checked our the image quality of the likes of the Zulus?

At the ranges you are shooting a rim fire image quality is unlikely to be a problem. Its certainly more than adequate for shooting at distance with a .270

Purely because I don’t like the look of them. May have to reconsider though 👍

DNT are supposed to be releasing a tubed, 4K version of the Zulus, which is what I've been holding off on for my .22LR

It's had a few delays and I think it's vaguely pencilled in for "Q4" now, whenever that is?

At first I didn't like the look of them either but when I look at how short and light they are compared to the hik and new nocpix im seriously thinking of buying one.
The built in IR is also a bonus.

Iam thinking the same

The Zulus at it's price point takes some beating..

Plenty of Zulus footage here

A question on the zulus v2 .
It comes with the 20moa mount.
I already have a 25moa rail on my 22lr so would I have to buy a 0 moa mount to make things work ?

It's not just me that's majorly underwhelmed by the image quality of the Hikmicro 4k Lite then at night. I have the full fat version on my .243 and it is in a different league. I didn't expect it to be as good but somewhere in between would have been nice! I have a V1 3-12 DNT Zulus on my air rifle and it knocks the spots off the Hikmicro 4k Lite. I mounted it on my Sako P94S to see what it looks like and it really didnt suit it, hopefully the tube DNT comes out some time soon. I find the user interface much nicer on the Hikmicro kit than the DNT, I must say.
