Hello everyone, My name is Jimmy i am from the mideast area of the USA where I developed a test for long range shooting. I use to hunt white tail deer, wild boar, rabbit and bird hunting but gave it up a while go. I reather look a the beautiful live animals enjoying their day and trying to survive. Call me a tree-hugger 🤣🤣

Recently moved the Glasgow suburbs and been trying to find a full bore range around the area, to join and apply for my FAC, but it seems that there are not so manny. I found Fife and Kinross rifle and gun club but after contacting them via email 4 times and leaving 2 messages on a number i found that says it for the club (but not sure) have not got a response but i am still hopeful that i do. Any suggestions are welcome and will be greatly appreciated.

I have quite a few rifles in my collection but my very favorite is a custom made (Remington 700 LA) chambered in 300 Norma Mag. Second favorite is my Marling 1895 lever action chambered in 45-70 Gov. (i do not think this one is legal in the UK), my third favorite is a Bergara (can’t remember the model) in 6.5 creedmore, my fourth most favorite one is my Armalite AR50A1 chambered in 50 BMg my fifth favorite is the Ruger Precision chambered in 338 Lapua Mag.

I am still a member of the NRA back in the US so i will need to join the UK NRA. Don’t be shy say hello and will chat with you

Thank you

If you dont mind a bit more of a drive try Gardners Guns just over the border a bit! 👍
Yes I have seen this one and it looks quite promising woulnd mind the drive at all.
Please forgive my ignorance but I am learning how things work here.
Let say afterI join a club and get my FAC, can go to any range even if I am not a member of that range and shoot?
I have also seen a club where you can use their club fire arms at their range while you are in the process of obtaining your FAC as a provisional member after passing a background check.

Generally speaking access to other ranges is not possible. However, you may visit by prior arrangement on guest days or at open competition shoots.
