It is interesting that african warthogs are immune to African Swine Fever (ASF) but Euroasian boar not. Warthogs and boar really same specices. Therefore there is a lot of effort worldvide to find the gen(s) which make warthogs immune. Perhaps such studies were taken place in the Catalonian lab and someone dropped a test tube ...
 
I attended a meeting monday,it was quoted that at the point of China dropping the Spanish imported pork immediately,it cost Spain £26M a day to their GDP.

The UK price dropped ten days ago too,l can see the excess production coming our way,further dropping UK prices.
