I’m a BASC member and a strong supporter of BASC. I also go the Stalking Show and have done since it started. Yet I struggle to see what real value BASC will add to an already highly successful and entirely relevant (to deer stalking) show that is the Stalking Show in its current form. It already has excellent live demonstrations such as the one by Jose Souto and Rachel Green the other year where they demoed the skinning of a Roe doe, quartering and butchering it as well as cooking a venison dish to pass around the audience. This was so informative and engaging to watch as well as to taste. So I reiterate my earlier comment, I’m not convinced BASC will be able to add any further value to an already excellent show. Perhaps @Conor O'Gorman can give us more details as to exactly what BASC will be bringing to the party?
