An interesting days cricket, but a predictable underperformance by Englands batting, all be it in really difficult conditions. Aus are going to pile on the runs tomorrow and bat England out of the game.

A master at stating the obvious… That said it would be good if England could restrict them to under 250 lead or Aus declared (would never happen) to set up a run chase. I wouldn’t put it past England to chase something down and to make an exciting game. The pitch would need to stay spicy until the afternoon session tomorrow and then flatten out for England’s second innings

Its a real mystery to me atm. One cant discount the top batters hitting their straps second time around,Id expect a ton from Head and Smiffy.
