Locked gun cabinet removal

The cabinet is empty and left by a previous owner with no key!

Just need to remove it so I can replace it with my own.
I had similar once

My strategy was a big cut down one side near the back and top and bottom on the same side so I could fold the side panel out and take off the bolts without ever going near the locks on the door

It was quick and simple and avoided any snags around the door joints

As said above.. if in good condition, a locksmith, or if you’ve bought the property, why not contact the former opener for the keys? If not worth keeping, rather than angle grinding, get some decent TCT hole saws or stitch drill holes and use a recip saw.. None of these will risk burning down the house from the sparks of an angle grinder.
You have time on your side, unlike a thief, so just do it a bit at a time.

If there’s any chance you might want to keep it & use it for, say, an ammo safe then I’d suggest a locksmith - they’ll know exactly where to drill to be able to disable the locks. Once opened the hole the locksmith drilled can be welded up, dress & painted etc.

Alternatively, have a guess at where the fixing bolts are likely to be & then use a hole saw to make a hole in the front door roughly opposite each one that’s large enough for a socket on a long extension so you can undo the bolts from the wall. A 2” hole saw will give you room to see into the cabinet & enough slack to account for the hole not quite lining up with the bolt too.

Fire brigade key set? (or other version of skeleton keys).
What's a Fire Brigade Key Set?

The only keys that the fire brigade carry are lift keys, hydrant keys, keys to foam inlets and wet/dry risers and fire access gates/barriers. Other than that it's the big red key, the jaws or a 10lb sledge that we carried to break down security doors fitted on drug dealers flats.

There's two options to this problem, either a locksmith or simple brute force. Those that steal these cabinets from homes usually don't have too much bother levering cabinets off walls.

I'd bet you'll get it off with a pry bar, once it starts moving it'll come pretty easy or give access to shear the fixings with a hammer and cold chisel.
My entry in to how long its going to take.....15 mins

A locksmith will charge you more than a brand new cabinet ! Do it yourself. Dust sheet everything well, wear ear muffs, eye protection, and a mask. Take your time, and use a thin metal cutting disk in an angle grinder. It will be a lot of damage to open it and I do not think it will be readily re-usable for ammo storage or anything. Junk it..

If it is the older type two lock cabinet where the lock bodies are affixed on the door rear, have a squint from one side with a bright light ... you may be surprised to see where the fixings are.
