So you’ve a trail camera set up on your permission, you get a few photos of another shooter/ poacher . Then One of your camera facing different direction. When to go there it’s gone ….
What do you do ? ☹️

Report it to the police as a theft, provide the images of the other individual to the police as someone poaching, however someone appearing on your camera is not proof of poaching unless the individual is armed then other circumstances considered he may be charged with armed trespass. Are you sure the other individual was poaching ?

I had 5 on the go as part of my permission to combat fly tippers.
Two went walkies,l think the ir red light catches the eye.
It does mine.
One was way up a tree!

No cant prove poaching, but was well after dark ,
I can’t fathom that someone would just spitefully take / destroy a camera 🤷🏻‍♂️
It’s of no use to them anyway

we used to get them stolen on a regular basis ,now we have three watching each other and have done so for the last five years its a bit expensive as the cameras sends photo direct to mobile phones so we see who is about and if they are trying to take the camera we know which one it is and where its is. we contact security firm and they send up drones to find the vehicles etc .police get the photos and vehicle reg. it seems to deter them .we used to get a lot of fuel theft and vehicles burnt out !

Been there with a fold up retractable high seat.
No footpaths and no rights of way.
Seat gone, ratchet straps on the floor.

I had my suspicions, but how do you prove anything?

And that was locked to the tree with a cheap cable cycle lock.
A Hacksaw had done it's job.
