First wintry duck flight of the year

Blizzard conditions at times with constant thunder and lightening made for an excellent wee flight last night.

This pond had a few inches of slush on it but still a good few came in although with the wind most went unsaluted.

Brave man! We were up in Angus for the Hogmanay and managed to get away before the roads got too bad, nice to see some "proper" winter weather for a change!

Aye,that’s the worst we have had for many years but made for some excellent shooting.
Always feel short changed if we don’t get a wintry spell.

The dug looks ****ed off tho haha, up your way you seem to have had a fair belt of snow.
Hardly anything down here west of Edinburgh, only lasted a couple of days but it was frosty.
