Then I’m sure if you reset it and then insert the code that you scratch off it will work. Not had to do it before but worth a try.

Think the problem is that the camera code is linked to the original owners account, who can't remember any details to contact Zeiss and release it

It's definitely a beware situation when buying these cameras 2nd hand

Still, with the code you should in theory be able to reset it. I’ve done a lot with these and know the workings well. You could send it to me with the box etc and I can take a look if you like? Seems a shame if it’s scrap because of this.

I’ve factory reset the camera but because it’s still linked to the previous owner I can’t add it and Zeiss can’t do anything to help

I have a brand new Secacam 3. I couldn't get it to pair with the App and Zeiss sent me a new one, said to bin the original and they would remotely disable it.
