My advice to myself at your stage would have been to concentrate funds and effort on one very good fullbore rifle with quality glass, and a second hand CZ rimfire with a day night scope. Let the rest come slowly. Picatinny rails would have saved me a fortune on glass and electronics.

Great shout. I was bored of waiting over Xmas so bought myself a good day night scope for the 22! Im going to get a vortex razor for the 308 (probably a tikka ace target). I’ve got a bunch of mid scopes and a holo for the others until I can afford to upgrade them. Sold a motorbike so the Mrs doesn’t kill me
