Wanted: Permissions in exchange for cheap roofing and cladding? (Barns, industrial units, repairs, etc) KENT

Hey,
But of a weird one but thought I’d post in here on the off chance of someone being interested.

So I understand most land owners get bombarded with people that want to shoot their land in exchange for either nothing or something not so valuable.

I’m 28 and started shooting last year, I’m struggling with getting permissions as I’m too busy to do the classic door knocking and I don’t really know any land owners in my area. So to make it fairer I want to provide anyone with shootable land my services as the owner of a roofing and cladding company, we’re 4 years old and have presence in both the Uk and Europe, we have 16 lads working for us now.

I can provide roofs, repairs, walls, etc at trade price (no mark up) and installation costs very cheap (no mark up on labour)

This is obviously only for people that can offer me shooting permissions,

I think there's plenty of people in rural areas get shooting permissions as a result of doing work for farmers and landowners.
Seems a common route in.

Lots of my earlier farmland shooting in Cheshire and surrounds were obtained through welding jobs. Tim would probably recognise the phrase ( " While you are ere', just ave a look at this will ya"?)

You’d be better offering this in local FB groups for agri, livestock, farming & local area’s to yourself. I had a couple of offers this way but expect people with a couple of acres to approach you in exchange for a full roof

Will take anything really, would be ideal if I can shoot 22, 243 or 308 on there though as need it for my application

I think unfortunately an advert doesn’t do anything without the old conventional door knocker or drinking in the pub I’m a Hgv/ag/plant mechanic but also do aircon and hydraulic hoses but have found it usually I do a job for them then get chatting then the permission comes maybe focus your advertisement on getting more farm based roof jobs and then drop in the old Bloody hell bud there’s 600 crows on your rape up there want me to take care of them

Nawe I know mate the problem is that I specialise in data centres and they deffo won’t be letting me shoot there

for deer you are likely looking at Tunbridge wells, area rather that the SE of kent like Dover.

You say for your application, have you any experience? DSC1? paid stalking? otherwise likely to be very lucky to get a .243 or .308 if first grant. More realistic .22lr, .22wsm, .17hmr and possibly .223, 22-250 for fox.

DSC1, insured and I’m a member of a gun club. I live in Ramsgate.
Been up lydd and shot 243 and 308, been out with my mate and his dad plenty of times with his 22 shooting rabbits.

I have my SGC. I own a beretta a400 xtreme plus and a beretta a303.

I decoy pigeons. Shoot geese and ducks when in season. I’ve been on a few paid stalks and I’m going on another one soon.

I am also a member of Kent wild fowlers.

I’ve spoke to my FEO and based on what I’ve done so far he will accept a 308 on first ticket, I want land to shoot on to try for “open” cert. My close mate has just been given 243 and 308 on his fist ticket

Yeah it’s one of the reasons for me looking for permissions is so there’s no argument once I apply,

And haha no deer around here although a year or so ago there was a fallow buck running around, it made the local news lol
