If you think being an England supporter is frustrating, you try being a France supporter and never knowing whether your team is going to play blinding rugby or forget how to catch a ball. Last Sunday, France played for only 20 minutes, the ten last minutes of each half, in the end only losing because Trinh-Duc didn't quite kick that attempted drop-goal hard enough. I wanted France to win that game, as there would have been everything to play for against Wales, which would have made for an amazing game.

It may still be amazing, Wales are brilliant. But I can't tell because I don't know if France will turn up...

Hi All, My past three generations born in England. Sirname Evans (so probably some welsh blood there). Grandfather on mother's side Irish. I will enjoy all the games and do not care who wins. As long as it' not the Scots or the French.

Having been at Twickenham for the England v Wales game I don't think a Welsh victory over France is a foregone conclusion....though it will depend entirely upon which French team turns up. Likewise I fancy the Irish to beat England. England at least (or should that be "at last") have the makings of a good side, a very welcome change from the debacle in New Zealand.

As a half-breed Irish Wop who lives in, and supports, England I am simply looking forward to enjoying the final week of the Six Nations.

IMHO, the outstanding player of the tournament so far would be Richie Gray. George North has been no slouch, though I do think Wales are missing the edge they had with Shane Williams. England's pack have not disgraced themselves either.

Try of the year undoubtedly - had the entire house (dogs included) up on their feet cheering - I think Rob Kearney was secretly glad to take the dummy rather than get in the way of the Blond Hulk travelling at Warp Nine.

I had Wales at 13 - 8 after the first match. Should have placed it before at 5 - 2 ! The margin could be tight if France keep it together but home advantage should prevail. And lets hope the ref has a good game as well !

But then again they did kick me out of Wales, my home land, because I couldn't sing nor play rugby.

England have improved, they could,nt get much worse, but France played terrible, listening to the commentators I thought I was watching a different match. If France play as badly (which they won,t) wales should walk it.
I think Italy and Scotland have just had bad luck this year.
By the way what happened to that chap Ashton with his hand and swallow dive

All I can say after seeing the England v Wales game is that Wales certainly didn't live up to the pre-match hype. Other than the last 10 minutes it was anyone's game. England's defence effectively neutralised the Wales back row. Jonathan Davies must be ruing his comment that Wales would "smash" England, though to be fair even Brian Moore predicted Wales would win "by a mile". Wales are in great danger this weekend of believing their own marketing.

Italy haven't had bad luck - they simply lack the breadth and depth of talent that the other five nations can draw upon. As for Scotland, they have sadly varied from the sublime to the farcical, often during the same run of play. Having just finished reading The Grudge (the story of the 1990 Calcutta Cup) it hurts to watch Scotland's current form.

Well I'm English, and my other and undoubtedly better half is Welsh.......but I've made it quite clear to my son that if he ever finds himself playing international rugby at Twickenham, he'll be wearing a white shirt for a home game.....!!

It's a shame that any good England performance is somehow always put down to the poor quality opposition.

I don't think any victory can ever really be blamed on the other side somehow losing it. Other than the last 10 minutes of each half France were dire, but lest we forget Harinordoquay still took the man of the match The difference was that England exploited the chances they made, in the process scoring three tries that any team would have been proud of. Croft had an outstanding game, even if you ignore his try, but there were no real lemons in the England side (for once). Ashton's lack of form is doubtless a blip, though if it humbles him enough for him to dispense with the "Ash Splash" I, for one, will be truly thankful. England also defended as well as, if not better than, in the Wales game.

Three away wins and a close fought loss to Wales is more than any England fan could have expected going into the Six Nations, and more than any opponent would have credited us for, so maybe we'll settle on winning the award for "Most Improved Team"!

I'll be delighted to see Wales win their third Grand Slam in eight years but I still dont see any of the home nations threatening the superiority of the Southern Hemisphere.
