Hikmicro HQ35L 4k VS HQ50L Pro

Tried both at the game fair last year, for my eyes preferred the thermal on the HQ50L, over all its a better package but it comes at a cost.. plus its a bigger and heavier unit. Had some issues with the eye focus adjustment which was replaced under warranty and found the eye cup rubbers on the Habroks easy to dislodge. In the end purchased a low cost camera lens wrench on fleabay which allows you to tighten the rings fully that hold the eyecups in position. Only fairly useless part of the setup is the IR illuminator, if left in auto it will flare in the night vision display in any sort of foliage.. ok when looking over a field, but limited in range. Mostly leave this off now.
