It came like that. It was the only one in the shop that was cheap enough. It had sat there for months. Probably because it looks so gay!Looks pleased as! Well done grandad. Who pimped your puff gun stock????
Though granddaughter had found the tip-ex!!It came like that. It was the only one in the shop that was cheap enough. It had sat there for months. Probably because it looks so gay!
My eldest has purple leopard print wellies!! Puts my aigles to shame!@Smellydog well done involving the youngsters.
Your photo reminds me of my 4 daughters.
Not one of them ever wore green wellies like usual old farts do, always different colours. I never knew that wellies came in neons, striped, glitter etc before the girls started coming out with me on the rounds and helping out on shoot days.
Luvly picture Smelly - well done for introducing her to our noble sport though you may have awakened a monster….Proud granddad moment.
Granddaughter came ratting for her first time tonight as chief rat spotter.
Loved being out at night. Loved hearing the owls , pheasants and the geese.
Got a little nervous when we called for a fox and one screamed in the distance so we came home but well done kid.

How did people get on last night ? as I went out at 6: 00pm, weather was still air, no wind, cool and dry cloudy, no moon.
Farmer had said he had seen plenty of muntjac slots so I went down where he indicated . I would have expected possible fallow roe and muntjac going to or from between 3 spinneys around the 50 acre rape field.
I stayed until 11:30 no fox, no deer of any trype not even a badger only a few hares rabbits and rats . I had not been down there since the autumn because of the rain flooded soil but it was drying out now. even on the way home I usually see 2 or 3 muntjac on the grass verges feeding but nothing.
what happend to the animals?

AvermectinOut Thursday night and had two fox from two perms, so one at each. Feeling rough as old floorboards, sore throat, joints aching. No pics as first was two leccy sheep fences away and second deep in a bramble tangle. Back at it last night and had these two vixens, one each from two different perms again.

The bottom one was carrying something it its mouth, but could not find it when I reached the fox. Wonder if it flew or hopped off? Or maybe I just missed it in the grass?
At the Chemist?Avermectin![]()
Doubt you'll get it there..At the Chemist?

Them rats will pass for rabbits when skinned.Out last nighton bunny patrol again. Miles of newly planted hedgerows need protecting
Lovely night with hardly any wind , which made rabbits quite skittish .
Furthest shot 132 yd bunny off sticks
A few rats around sheep feeders and in dry stone wall is always a welcome bonus
A lot of rabbits were pregnant does so that keeps the numbers down a bit before being dropped.
