Tikka T3x Lite Green/Black Cerakote Adjustable Rifle or Benelli lupo

Hi I have just ordered the tikka T3X lite green cerakote adjustable which i will be picking up in a few weeks. But whilst in the shop i was looking at the Benelli lupo and really liked it. I need help
To decide and any reviewes on lupo please

I had the original Lupo in .243 and it shot as accurately as my T3x or my friends Sako 85.

Pro's over the T3x (imho)
Double stacked magazine
Can top load
Mag is completely flush with the underside of the action
Can be unloaded on safe
B.E.S.T finish has a very long warranty as does the action
Adjustable with shims for cast, drop, lop etc

Cons
You get what you get, you can't swap out the stock for a PSE or MDT etc, or alter the trigger set.
Grip can be a little narrow if you have large hands
Some flex in the forend

If you want to modify and tinker with things down the line then the T3X would be the one. But both are excellent rifles.

For what it's worth I've just got rid of my Bergara B14 Crest and I'm about to replace it with another Lupo

Cheers for reply mate. It’s such a tough decision. Had my heart set on the tikka for ages as I hadn’t seen the lupo close up. They were telling me in the shop to go for the lupo aswell saying the 800 pound defence isn’t worth it. Just don’t no what to do

Go in store and. Handle both of them, see what feels and fits best, try the action as well as mag fitting, balance and weight

I have done mate and I’m still really struggling I like them both. Wish I could try the Benelli but they haven’t got a used one at the shop to try. I no the tikka well my friend has one. Might have to put a variation in for something else so I can have one of each

Loving my Tikka T3X Cerakoted Green/Black Lite in 20” .270 - looked at rifles costing considerably more but the Tikka just works and there’s so many aftermarket options available for them.

The benellis are workhorses just as much as tikkas are. Just don't have as much notice (yet) because of the previous importers...

10 year warranty on the action, 25 year warranty on their "BE.S.T." coating. All for less than a standard T3x? It's not like Benelli are going anywhere either... Plus, the BE.S.T. coating is used on their semi auto shotguns, so if they're willing to stand by that, can't see it causing bother on a bolt action...

As mentioned, only limitation is that you're stuck with the benelli stock options - but can swap the stocks out to any other lupo stock from what I've heard.

If only they were made in left hand... I'd be buying one myself

Lupo's are conventional bolt action. Definitely not changeable unfortunately...

I picked up a benelli in granite moss, it's fantastic and is a lot of rifle for the money, 10 year warranty too. I think if you pick one up, you won't be disappointed

Picked it up on Wednesday and got out for the first time lastnight and got 2 fox. I love the rifle. Thanks for your help lads
