1 last go

One last go at the fallow tomorrow, then drop the 7x57 off for a cerakote spray tan on the way home and that’s me done until October!

Then 1 last job, get my beloved 15 year old Leica’s sent off for a referb to Portugal

Sod the stalking time to go fishing 👌
I thought you were selling up and retiring?

Or are you just prepping the gear for sale?

Sounds like you aren’t quite ready to retire from stalking and might regret it 😉

Problem is I want the whole lot gone in 1 go, job jobbed!

I personally am not fussed if I pull the trigger again, but while I’ve got it I’ll continue plodding on.

7x57 has a cult following, but people are too fascinated with the lesser quality modern calibres, plus I’m cack handed and so is the rifle, I can see the rifle not selling and when it finally have had enough i can see a grinder will end up going through the action sadly.

Then sell the rest of the kit from there.

Gudgeon match to the death whilst the floaters sit untouched?

Well, that’s me done for the summer, about 13 or 14 fallow seen or heavily pregnant females so that just tells me roll on September/October rifle has been dropped off for a spray tan so now nothing to do but go fishing!

I'm surprised you bothered going out since shooting bucks makes no difference to numbers 🥰

If the kit all sells you wont need to worry about shooting again

Good luck with the fishing 👍

I hope they make a better job with yours than mine. Mine went back x2 during covid. When they came back 1st time focus knob was out of allingement and had so much play it was silly. It cost me a small fortune to get them mended.
Otherwise v good bins.

I’ve found Leica faultless, 3 times mine have been away under warranty all fixed with no cost to myself.

This time will be different, as I’ll be having a well earned overhaul, like I said they’ve had a hard life.

I normally stop June and July and spend my time pigeon and crow shooting when the opportunity arises.
