H4350 emulation

RS60 is IMO one the finest powders out there
Very forgiving
We use it from 243 up to some magnums
Meters well in progressive machines

It's on the list of potentials. This is for a 25x47L running 135 Bergers. Lots of anecdotal for H4350, some for N150, N540, N555 and a tip from a knowledgeable and successful F class chap on N550. I have 555, 60 & 62 to hand.

For me I've settled on rs62 but that was before N555 became prevalent. if i had to choose again i would choose N555 but I've still got a several kilos of rs62 to shoot off before that !

N555 is a really good powder and very temp stable, it's the current powder of choice in F Class (open)

I’m still using it, got about half a tub left, I use it in my 7x57

I’m going onto N160, I do also have a tub of IMR4350 so I’ve got plenty to go out to keep me going for a long time

I went from IMR 4350 to N555 in my 6.5x55. Works very well!

I've had good luck using RL16 when H4350 isn't available. Generally speaking, it gives me a slight velocity boost. As mentioned above, IMR4350 has been faster burning in my experience. I need to dabble more with the Viht powders as they tend to be in stock at most of the large online retailers.

Alas Reloder stuff is unobtanium here. Generally we're stuck with Viht and Reload Swiss, Ramshot and some Winchester
