Gun licence fees going up again.

However this can be dispelled with a quick look at stats on gun crime figures for legally held firearms.
And the argument in favour would be the Home Office desire to ensure a continued downward trend on such figures; however negligible they may be in the scheme of things.

Keeping an iron-fisted 'cap' on unhelpful figures is a core function of how all Government Departments operate unless its Dover Border Control!

Fair. Sadly.

I 100% get what your saying. But what hasn't increased in price over the last 10 years?
I'm with you on the fact the level of service you get shouldn't be a postcode lottery. I'm Northants and my last variation was 5 months. Friend in Lincolnshire had it done one done in 2 weeks.
If they hadn’t gone up in 10 years I’d take your point but they’ve gone up twice in the last couple of years with the post saying that fees will increase with inflation, so the increase will be constant, whilst service, for many, is reducing.

I'll say it again everyone complains but I regularly see people who are complaining asking about 5k rifle set ups and spending massive money on stalking but the cost of the licence to enable you to have those things is tooo expensive. It's really simple you need to keep in a separate account the money each year ready for your renewal
