Just put a pair of Geolanders AT on the back of my Vitara. Did look at a set of Wildpeaks as they had a set in for another customer and they appear to have a very good thread pattern.

What's the 4 number DOT on them indicating date of manufacture? Eg 0414. This would indicate that the tyres were made on the 4th week of 2014 making them 12 years old. Obviously this is just an example, however do remember that tyres over about 7 years old, the rubber goes harder and loses it's ability to grip the road. This applies to all makes of tyres, premium brands as well as the mid range & cheap ones.
The problem with 4x4 tyres which can have very deep tread blocks, is that whilst they can last a long time, it doesn't stop them from aging and losing their gripping abilities.

Are these the Falken Wildpeak AT3WA? How are you getting on? Im stuck between these and Grabber AT3s as dropping from 22" wheels to 20" to run for shooting season.

Very happy. The lack of noise compared to the BF goodridge is amazing and very welcome

I also noticed a considerable reduction in noise compared to the BFG tyres, and better handling on the road.
I think fuel efficiency is better too.

Very pleased with off-road performance as well.
