Powder Dispensers

I use a Lyman gen 6 and its worked ok for me, I seat a bullet while its weighing out the next charge and so on, but as it has been said above, it now and again throws slightly over when I use N140. I keep a pair of tweezers to hand to remove a kernel or two if and when required
Now that’s a good idea. I have just been dumping the whole charge back into the hopper and letting it dispense again.

Doh!

I feel I must add here, that I would never buy off any Facebook pages etc unless I was collecting in person and paying on collection.
Too many scammers!

There is one on most of the working terrier and lurcher pages on Facebook that is always selling ferret finders, terrier locators and thermal spotters. Well I say selling, but he never actually sends anything.
He's scammed tens of people, absolute scumbag!
I know who he is, he's from the town I grew up in.
Anytime I see him list something for sale, I comment to give people a heads up.

So if you see anyone called John James/ Jonboy Walton or something similar, and he's ginger and overweight, Steer clear.

I'm sure there's hundreds like him.

The SD though, seems a great little community of mindlike folk that are more than happy to help others which I think is great 👍

That said, I will definitely be upgrading to the A&D balance and Autotrickler in the somewhat near future. It's pricey, but I am a "buy once, cry once" type person. I got all my current reloading kit as a job lot off a friend when he got out of the sport and it's been great, but I am beginning to appreciate the limits.

I am just trying to decide where to drop the next bit of cash....AMP annealer or A&D/Autotrickler. There is also an A419 Zero press on the radar at some point, but for now, the venerable Lee will carry on.

I admit I'm not shy of spending money, but i'm still using the Lee breechlock press and cheap Lee dies that I bought when first starting with reloading, I've got an ugly annealer still in the box unused. I will get round to using it, but I have hundreds of pieces of brass and most of it has only been fired 2 or 3 times.
If I was getting into precision rifle shooting, I would spend a lot more on my reloading gear but for hunting at sensible distances, what I have works great

:-) I hear you. I have nowhere to hunt, but am pretty close to Bisley so am going down that route, which brings a whole different kettle of fish.

My target rifle is a Tikka T3x Ace Target in 6.5mm Creedmoor, and it seems to be really good at making small holes in paper really close to each other. I am absolutely loving the reloading and load development process - being kind of detail orientated (anal) it seems to really suit me.....and I love chasing small changes down a rabbit hole!

Neil Jones. Far superior to anything else out there imho. Once set, which doesn't take long first time and nearly no time afterwards if you note down the settings, it's quicker and far more consistent than anything else, manual or electronic, that I've ever tried. No faffing about trickling a few grains required, it's dead on every time.
