Nocpix ace price reduction

So nocpix have slashed the price on the ace! Does this mean they will be being out new models of the ace shortly? Anyone heard anything? I’m tempted but don’t want to buy one and new models come out a few months later

If it’s been out for more than 12 months there is a good chance there is a new one coming. In fact due to the way that tech works there is always a new one in development. To take even a 5 min break from R&D means the company will fall by the wayside it seems. Companies tend to favour speed over complete testing it seems as well.

Nocpix has a similar strategy to HIK where they release some sort of new product every 6 months. Usually though it’s a mildly upgraded version mid life version of of an existing. I would imagine that any new Ace will be a mildly worked over version of the existing with probably the only significant change being side focus (or similar) rather than front.

Think NocPix will need to lower the price of their Ace series another step in near future f.e. with another 1000 pounds. Devices are good but so are now others also at a lower price point. NocPix states Ace series 'built for the fields' but don't agree. Have the 50 model and is just too big and heavy for non stationary hunting.

Also, too many fancy options with the scope, functions which I never use in the fields. Don't need Lrf in scope as the hand held thermal have that function. Will sell my device soon or when another arrives. What other... well my 3:d ATN ltv + 640/50. Compact and basic. Surely there are more powerful devices out there but the Ltv + is sort of 'back to basics' and very practical when going for the boars in darkness.
Each of their own of course ..

I'd rather buy a discounted older model that has been tried and tested than pay full whack for a new model that isn't tested.

Grab a bargain, matey :tiphat:

Then you'll end up buying nothing / forever waiting..

Almost like computers by time you buy top of range another ones ready in the wings

Life's too short ....research what suits / what you want and go buy it...or save a bit go 2nd hand ....use it enjoy it

Nocpix have always been one of the cheapest here, offering the best mark up for retailers, hik are offering great prices at the moment to dealers and customers on lower end models.

Very much each to their own... the inbuilt LRF and ballistic calculator are one of the biggest selling points for digital/thermal optics for most people in my experience.
