After having a few failed attempts at mopping up the expected fox cubs it was great to be able to break the curse of blanking on my last 3 attempts at reducing there numbers whilst there still young and dumb, I find this time of the year productive and going of last years results I wanted to be ready and on my guard to cross paths with the cubs as they started to emerge and have the confidence to travel further from the safety of there earth's.
My fried attempts were likely down to timing and crops and grass being up and in the way, one field had been cut so I set up there and the stars aligned, four foxes down to the mighty .22-250 and one more seen so I will return to that field soon, more crops have been flattened so more playing fields are now open, time to dial in on the task at hand and get amongst them
