Hi Buchan...it was a cirrhosis type lesion from previous fluke, we have a lot of it in our fallow...but thanks for your comment, Tony

A very informative post and very well done. I appreciate the effort put into posting something educational like this video for general consumption, and at the risk of putting their heads above the parapet. I would like to thank Tony and Mike for bothering.

It is easy to criticise but perhaps one day one of our resident vets will do a full post mortem on a similar animal and share their knowledge.

Until then, thank you chaps for a very useful training aid.

I for one was pleased to see an abnormal deer. The population we have in this country is generally in good health and I would very much welcome further videos or photo's of the diseases and illnesses the recreational stalker should be aware of when examining a shot deer..
