I'd have to fight the temptation to send the original taxi' a photo of it now by way of explanation / justification. I'd be interested to know- do you think they traditionally do all jackals in that 'aggressive style' in Bulgaria or would you put it down to the original taxidermist's individual take on it? Foss

They mount everything over there snarling, thats why i specified no grin, and was disapointed when it turned up smiling, badly.

I was in the middle of my surgery and had a couple free minutes. Logged on to the site and came across the pic of the original mount. Had to wait a full 3 minutes to stop laughing!

Not surprising the first go on the head turned out that way. I think everything in Bulgaria has an overemphasis on the dentition - here's some of the dogs they use:
