One of the conditions for the renewal of the lease was that certain individuals involved were not allowed to return and the situation could not be repeated.

They (the Forestry Management Company) and the DMG committee took the matter very, very seriously.

I agree, what an excellent narrative of events. It may be me, but... is shooting (whatever you shoot/stalk etc) the only sport where you come across the most throughly dispicable people!!!. I have met the people as described (not the ones who have not been named, but ought to be), they befriend you, you take them to your places, next thing is they have their firearms on the land you have had for years & years, then your off the place, friends!!! who needs these scum NAME AND SHAME THEM I SAY so that we all may give them a very wide berth
 
Hi Patrickt, Your prayers have been answered one of the Greenfield 6 has been named and shamed come on Fordingbridge throw these scum out of the BDS?
 
I attended the induction day yesterday which was well organised. Thanks to the Greenfield committee for putting it together and for keeping this stunning resource available. I learnt a few useful things, not least that my cold weather gear needs upgrading.

+1 very professional set up and friendly approach, a credit to the committee who by all accounts have worked very hard to keep the lease

I think the reason there are not more schemes like this is because of the amount of agg it causes for the people running them ,a great deal of commitment it would seem to give people a chance to stalk, that they would oterwise struggle to do.Amazed that people would abuse this oppertunity .Good post setting every thing straight.Try & keep what sounds a good scheme
 
It was a good day. I enjoyed the scenery too... Well done to the organisers. There really has been an awful lot of work put in by the members of the committee to ensure this land remains available to stalkers...
 
The new date for the postponed Feb date is now set for March.

An e-mail has been sent out to all on that induction list, there are some who may not have checked their mail recently....?

Thanks to all who attended at the weekend for being so receptive, it made the day go very smoothly.
