6mm copper bullets

FC leases are factory ammo only which further complicates the issue. What about the Lapua naturalis, I think that is available in 243 with a 90g bullet
Only for FC staff
not aware of any lease that dictates factory ammo for lease holders

fixed that for you....As its roe you should have a problemgeneral consensus is that you use a slightly lighter copper bullet (compared to what you would normally use) and drive it slightly fasterI shouldn't think a 6x284 will have any problem dropping roe with any bullet size!Barnes do a 85gr TTSXgetting hold of them in Northumberland might be your bigger challenge
Thanks, mine are hand loads from Callum F, I've got him on the case trying to fathom something that will work, I've been told however I can forget usual accuracy levels, but should be good enough to pass the basic accuracy tests! Not really what you want to hear when using custom rifles that are normally one holers. Hopefully they are not going to be difficult on hand loads as well, otherwise it might quickly get itself on the too hard list.

Barnes do a 85gr TTSX

getting hold of them in Northumberland might be your bigger challenge

Sorry bewsher --- Barnes don't make a TTSX 243 bullet in 85 grains - that weight is available in TSX (not tipped) --- They do make a 80 grain TTSX though.
It's a pity because I think the TTSX expands a bit quicker than TSX making it a bit better for "soft" game.
