fecking mower!

Had similar problem with my Honda mower , stripped carb messed about for ages . Replaced spark plug problem solved .

Easy fix to replace plug but it sparks like mad when it's out

fresh fuel flushed system

carb comes off tomorrow
if that doesn't work what is the appropriate calibre for humane dispatch of a lawnmower?

am thinking a 208gr AMax would do the trick!

I had exactly the same problem with my fecking mower , I took it to the local dealer , he mended it ! It worked a treat after , so much so that someone thought it worth nicking ...

My mower had a similar problem change the diaghram they perish if you leave petrol in over winter same in chainsaws it disolves the fuel pipes, so strip clean carb replace diaghram and possibly spark plug give the carb a good blow through with an air line to clean all the crap out,

That's not a Briggs and Stratton engine it is a Chinese GGP engine. There is no diaphragm on it.
There are some problems with this engine.
Check part no. 28 the inlet tube. Make sure it is not cracked.
Do replace the spark plug. No matter how well they spark, under load they can react differently.
Strip the carb and make sure you check that the main jet is not blocked.
Finally check compression.

Thanks
will have a look at that lot...or shoot it, depending on how I feel!
checked compression already,

...anyone know where to buy fecking seeds - or are they tubers? I've decided to go into bigger production to feed my burgeoning BuggerAll population, so need to plant some more - may as well as it turns out I also have a fecking mower.
I'm guessing B*llsh*t is the best fertiliser?

My ex is a gardener with B&S engined mowers so I have done (and still am doing!) a 'few' fixes - a good check to see if it is the diaphragm is to take off the air filter then pour a capful of petrol into the carb, if the engine then runs for 20 -30 seconds then stops - it is nearly always the diaphragm. This vid is quite good at showing what is an easy job - just be very careful uncoupling and reconnecting the carb springs - very easy to accidently stretch one

She lives!!!

feck knows why

stripped carb, checked jet, checked inlet, checked plug again

loaded the 300Wm and gave it one last pull.
bitch started!
swear it was the threat of massive hole through the crankcase that did it

anyway
yet another bloody machine I have no idea how I fixed!!

now taking orders for lawn mowers repairs, servicing and modifications!!
