The issue there is the heater is £59, a Milwaukee 5ah battery is £70 each, so I’d rather risk damaging the heater on the off chance I miss a battery change than risk damaging the battery by over depletion.

Understood but it was more the cost of a new workshop I had in mind.

I have the parts for running it off the mains and also off the 12v car socket but was just trying to get something more mobile….without carting a big battery about.
