Yes it's ppu brass, federal primers, everything looked fine but the bolt head hadn't rotated fully so the bolt couldn't be opened, does it need inertia from the recoil to rotate the bolt head?

This lead free thing will never take off when dealers aren't even competent enough to supply the stuff

No danger of them damaging my barrel, I reckon rifles will be obsolete by time I get chance to load some (whistling smiley)

Just watched the vid, that's what I meant the way he separates the skin from the stomach towards the spine, good tip on twisting the hide ill try that next time

I peel the skin back from the stomach so you're peeling it sideways rather than up or down until you get past the crease of the leg, then peel down as normal until you get near front leg then do same again, that'll leave it intact but as said, it's not always worth the extra effort

Going lead free would be OK if you could find someone who was willing or capable of supplying you with the goods 😒
