Alpex 4K LRF-Still valid or are there alternatives?

Good evening everyone, this topic has already been discussed, but now I'm in the position of purchasing a new NV with LRF and a ballistic calculator. I had a Zulus 5/20 and it was excellent, but I had some pixel problems, despite the warranty. The manufacturer wouldn't help me except under very strange conditions. I was thinking about an Alpex 4K with LRF, not PRO, because it's not yet distributed here and it's unknown when it will be available for purchase.
I already have a Black Sun Dark Engine in both 940 and 850, and the targets will be 90% wild boars up to 300 meters on a Tikka 30.06. Aside from the disproportionate weight compared to the Zulus, would you recommend it? Watching videos on YouTube, it doesn't seem like it, but I could be wrong, the DNT image is better.
Thanks to anyone who wants to share their experiences.

I will also be watching this post, as I’d like to know some information regarding the Hik 4k LRF

If you can, I'd hold off buying one yet if you are not in great need of one, as the Nocpix D70R Nite is due for release I believe in April, which I'm waiting to see before I buy a 2nd Alpex 4K LRF.
I own the Alpex 4K LRF and the Alpex A50, both are very good but also reasonably heavy as you say. My mate has the 4k LRF and the 4k non LRF along with the Zulus V2 5/20 LRF. I personally haven't had a chance to look through the Zulus yet but both my mate and another mutual friend both agree the 4k Alpex has clearer picture detail over the Zulus, that said they both agree its a good piece of kit. I dare say a few folk will disagree.

Isn’t the Alpex 4k pro out in April also?

Better screen and sensor (slightly) than the 4k and 25% lighter?

The front objective doesn’t appear so massive either so smaller / more streamline.

I’m contemplating putting the 4k pro non LRF on my stalking rifle and doing away with glass.

Rix have a 4k due with the LRF in the elevation turret. I think pard are doing something similar.
Falcon has a compact 4k with LRF on top and integrated illumination on the side of the objective bell.
There will always be new products incoming.

I purchased the 4K lrf. I have to say that with the BSDE 940, it lights well and has a good view, although a little heavy, but you can't have everything 🙂 The firmware is V5.5.125. Is that the one that many users regretted updating for the fine grids and image stabilization? Help me get the most out of it. Thanks

I've got an Alpex A50T and will probably move it on. The weight of it on rimfires and air rifles doesn't make sense compares to a Zulus so I'll probably end up getting an Alpex Lite LRF
