Hello people,

I'm curious to know if anyone is aware of any 22 wmr long barrel pistols available....I've searched the web and all I can find is 22lr, I've already got a 22 wmr rifle so it would be nice to find one that uses the same ammo, also do I need to join a club or can I simply shoot targets on my permissions, I've got an open ticket

I have never seen a .22WMR LBP however it would make sense for a semi automatic as it falls under the .22” rimfire exemption and if you are going to shoot supersonic .22” it may as well be magnum. Good luck with your search.

There was a a rumour a few years ago that walther were going to be doing a .22wmr lbp for the UK market but nothing ever came from it.

Unless it's sec5 I don't think you'll find one.
I can't imagine any FEO giving you one an open ticket, I'd put money on having it conditioned to club use only.

I’ve never see an LBP, just an LBR, as above it had .22 LR and .22 WMR, was a Rossi or Taurus I think.

You will need to join a home office approved club & the LBP will be conditioned for target shooting (only) whilst you are a member of that club & can only be shot on suitable ranges. You won’t get one for plinking on your permissions.
