6mm ARC

The 6mm ARC has been around for a couple of years now, and I'm looking at the cartridge as a nice light weight that punches over the 223 etc but not quite as a 243.

How many are using this little cartridge, and is there any factory ammo out there?

Barrel length suggestions?

A mate has one built, lovely rifle but he wishes he had gone 22 arc with the lead ban hitting .243. He also mentioned that he struggles to reach the velocity with most readily available uk powders

Lead ban shouldn’t be an issue with this caliber if it’s in the right twist around the 1-7 rate

I looked at a 6mm ARC but ended up purchasing a .22 ARC this week, there are certainly a lot of newer recent calibers to choose from, I'm hoping to get out at the weekend to try out my new .22 ARC bolt action.

There is a wide range of 6mm ARC ammo in the marketplace, seems like 80-108 grain range. There are 15 different factory offerings on Midway USA.
