Storing quad sticks

Got a VW Amarok all kitted out in the back for recovery and storage for kit.

Can anybody shed any light on some way store my sticks when driving about ? I ‘can’ have them across the back seats but has anybody got a practice solution for leaving them set up and then storing them somehow in the back ??

(I’m 6’2 so the feet are extended about 2-3 inches. Don’t really want to be taking them apart or readjusting all the time).

i slide mine into the passenger foot well the between the 2 front seats, the rifle is across the back seat, sticks come out first via the back seat then the rifle.

That’s what I currently do. During shooting season though, I still need to use the truck as a truck when not shooting.

Looking for storage between trips out really. Somewhere to store the sticks rather than them rattling around the back.

Mine stand by the inside of the back door when not in use, the back seats are reserved for everything else..Spaniels suitcase welder 110 box couple of grinders rods rack clamps leads square tape hammers but not all at the same time.

that is what I was planning to do with my old motor, but I would have had to buy the roof rack as well, I just bought a bigger car. I did notice today that there is a ski slot in the back seat, so I must try that.
I had several pairs siamised to permit easy attachedment to my LR's full Safety Devices roll cage. Never did add the obligatory off-road shovel or high lift jack!

I see a bloke on YouTube has a length of soil pipe in the back of his truck mounted diagonally from the canopy ceiling that he slides his sticks in, always thought that was a handy idea

i had that but on the outside of the ranger canopy as it was a single cab so the rifle was on the passenger seat the sticks were in the drain pipe held on with 2 light ratchet straps laying at an angle easy to reach as they just did not fit in the cab,

Mate of mine puts his sticks under two bungees that are strung across the car at roof liner height. Works for him, I find it annoying because they rattle. But there you are.

Anyone contemplating transporting the hallowed Viperflex sticks on the exterior of their vehicle is definitely going to hell for even thinking about it.
Mine are placed carefully on leather seats in a climatically controlled environment………….
