Webley Scott empire 308 magazine

Hi I have recently purchased a webley Scott empire rifle. 308 at a good price. So I wanted to get a spare magazine for it and thats where the problem lies. They stopped making them a few years ago and you can't get the magazine anymore so I was hoping to put a hower1500 internal magazine and floor plate in. My question is is it possible and has anyone done this .thanks in advance.

Might be worth ringing Darren at Midcountiesblacking.co.uk. He had a few Empire rifles in and he is a cracking gun Smith. Cheers Chris

Hi I've been in touch with Darren. Unfortunately he only has only one magazine per gun as they didn't make spares. On a brighter note he said the steel magazines should pretty much last for years.thanks
