Evening all..
After a long issue with my previous .308 which I won’t bore you all with, I’ve ordered a Tikka Tx3 Roughtec Ember lite.
Anyway, now for optics…
I had a Zeiss Conquest V6 2-12 x 50 on my previous rifle utilising Tier One picatinny rings as my previous Bergara had a picatinny rail. So here’s my question. The Tikka has a 17mm dovetail as standard, so do I buy the rail adapter so I can just use my existing tier one rings, or is it better to try and keep the scope low to the rifle as possible and look to get rings that will attach straight to the 17mm tikka dovetail, in which case which are the best 30mm tube ones to get? Stick with Tier One or is there something else to consider?
