Dialing dope with a thermal clip on???

Ok technical question and ultimately I will just test this out on targets but, theoretically can you dial out bullet drop when you have a thermal clip on attached?

I’ve only ever used my clip on at 75 to 150 meters (woods) so it’s never been an issue.

Side question: should parallax be set to the shortest distance or whatever distance is parallax free (100m on my scope)?

yep dial away as normal.

focus dont make much difference. but personally I find most my scopes look a tiny bit better with the focus maxed

Ok thanks.

I thought parallax did more than just focus? I thought it adjusts the point of aim. So If your parallax is a long then your aim will wonder.

The clip on screen is very close but the object in the screen isn’t. I’ve always set the parallax to either minimum or 100m and it’s always worked for me.
