Another Thermal Option

Not for sale in uk
Hello, No but can order straight from factory or Aliexpress, There is a U tube video from Nick ( Tinbum ) he rates them at such a good price and there is a discount , Lots on the AGF buying the Goyojo GS 515 night vision scope about £160 , I think the Thermal is about £500

Thermal is import license restricted, you’d be breaking the law buying from outside the U.K. for use here

I wouldn't want a thermal rifle scope with anything less than a 640x512 sensor.

My thermal spotter is pants in comparison to my MT1000LRF.

Arguably the best value 640x512 sensor thermal rifle scope.

50mm for £1300, hard to ignore

A 256px resolution thermal at HMR ranges... Good luck is all I can say...

You have posted in another thread EASY shoot rabbits heads at 150yds with your 256px thermal... I'm using £6000-£7000 thermal units, with x3 the resolution and x3 size the lens focal length, I wouldn't say a rabbit head ID and shot is easy in terms of any detail being shown, with a 256px thermal, at 50 yd on a rabbit you would just about know what it is from its full body size, never mind 150 yd head shots.

I would imagine that we will start to see a lot of cheaper thermal units from relatively unknown brands entering the market place. It is my understanding that a lot of the high RRP is based on recouping R&D costs that the OEM's shell out up front.

It only takes a few key employees to leave an established company and take their knowledge with them, others to copy/reverse engineer current units etc. It's the way of the free market and I think the Chinese entrepreneurs quite like the idea.

I take it you haven't looked at one, I will try and get a video uploaded as soon as I've set it up, I like a challenge 😏
